At JoGrow in Kwintsheul, the Netherlands, the Decorum Winter Fair took place on December 11 and 12. 15 green plant, flowering plant, and bulb growers were present to showcase their products for spring under the thme 'Christmas tree out, houseplant in'.
Sandra Hogervorst of Nursery HL Hogervorst with Arthur Kalkman of Decorum.
The first day of the fair was the busiest. According to Arthur Kalkman from Decorum, many buyers from garden centers, exporters, and end customers visited, often with their entire teams. Sandra Hogervorst from Kwekerij HL Hogervorst shared, "We're already preparing for spring. It's a great time to be here together, and our bulbs, along with the other plants, really bring that spring feeling back!"
"There was also real business being done, Arthur explains. 'Our members have the opportunity to showcase their products here, making it feel like a shop. Action carts are set up along the sides, where customers can view the direct offerings and place orders. The activity continues throughout the day in various forms. There's also a lot of interaction among Decorum members. Just two weeks ago, for example, we had a meeting with the flower group to discuss energy regulations. We make an effort to address current topics together.'"
