New varieties to debut at IPM 2025

With the new year fast approaching, plant lovers and green industry professionals are gearing up for January's highly anticipated International Plant Fair (IPM). Plantipp is hoping to make a big impression among the standout exhibitors with its collection of novelties.

Plantipp has announced plans to showcase nearly 20 new introductions at IPM.

New clematis varieties
Plantipp will showcase four new clematis varieties at this year's IPM, three of which are creations by breeder Raymond J. Evison. Clematis Elpis ('EviGsy154') features lush red blooms (10-12 cm) with yellow anthers and vibrant, long-lasting colors. It flowers prolifically from May to July and reblooms in September, complemented by green foliage. Clematis Bridgewater ('EviGsy155') charms with soft pink, star-shaped blooms (12-14 cm) and red anthers. It flowers densely along stems from May to July and again in September. Clematis Baroness Fookes ('EviGsy156'), a standout from the 2014 Guernsey Breeding Programme, blooms compactly and abundantly. Its ruffled purple-blue flowers (12-14 cm) have a darker stripe and red anthers set against rich green foliage. For cut flower enthusiasts, Clematis Amazing Kansas by Marginpar offers soft pink blooms with lilac-striped backs. With sturdy stems and decorative buds, each stem holds four flowers, making it a stunning addition to floral arrangements.
