From protests, to partnerships, acquisitions and of course Cultivate'24

In this article, we are looking back to July 2024. During this month, political tensions in Kenya have escalated, with widespread protests against a new finance bill. Despite the unrest, the flower market in Kenya remained largely unaffected, continuing its steady pace. Meanwhile, the global floriculture industry was seeing significant shifts, from strategic acquisitions to innovative partnerships. Notable developments include major business expansions and new collaborations, with companies like Selecta One, Modiform, and ThinkPlants making headlines. Also Cultivate took place which our colleauges visited to explore the US market and make our traditional photo report. But more happened of course, below the highlights.
