The floriculture industry is increasingly demonstrating its vibrant vitality and broad development prospects. The smart ecological flower industry park project undertaken by Kingpeng has successfully introduced the cutting-edge concepts of "Geothermal+" and "Hot spring floriculture," achieving a perfect fusion of natural resources and modern agricultural technology.
The intelligent greenhouse is divided into four areas: one seedling cultivation area, primarily for nurturing seedlings of grass flowers such as Begonia grandiflora, Verbena bonariensis, Pelargonium, Impatiens walleriana, Super Impatiens, Petunia hybrida, Calibrachoa, Salvia splendens, Tagetes patula, Solenostemon scutellarioides, Zinnia elegans, Cleome spinosa, Leucanthemum maximum, Viola cornuta, Viola tricolor, and Brassica oleracea. The other three areas are for potted flower cultivation, mainly growing potted varieties such as Roses, Begonia grandiflora, Super Impatiens, Garden Chrysanthemums, Pentas lanceolata, Hydrangeas, Cyclamen persicum, Maranta leuconeura, Croton variegatum, and more. The connected membrane greenhouses are primarily used for the cultivation and production of municipal grass flowers.
The overall construction of the project revolves around investments in agricultural facilities, industrial integration, technological research and development, school-enterprise research and study, as well as brand building. Through deep cooperation with universities and research institutions, it serves as a research, cultivation, and educational practice base for floricultural products, aiming to enhance the quality and cultivation capacity of flower production and strive to lead the regional floriculture industrialization development.
Adopting advanced greenhouse technology from the Netherlands, the project applies modern agricultural technologies such as intelligent greenhouse construction techniques, environmental control systems, and integrated water and fertilizer control technologies to greenhouse production. This allows growers to precisely adjust environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, and lighting according to the growth needs of the flowers, ensuring they grow in the most suitable environment. Even in cold winters, the heating system and insulation measures ensure robust flower growth, improving flower quality and yield, and meeting the market's year-round demand for flowers.
The Smart Ecological Floriculture Industrial Park project employs advanced flower planting and packaging equipment such as mobile irrigation machines, seedling production lines, tray placing machines, leaf-cutting machines, leaf-blowing machines, watering systems, and pot placing robots to cultivate various high-quality and high-yield specialty flowers. This fully ensures the high quality and safety of the products, radiates and drives the development of the surrounding floriculture industry, provides employment opportunities for local farmers, and through technical training in flower cultivation and modern agricultural management, promotes and enhances the professionalization, standardization, and brand development of local agriculture.
The Smart Ecological Floriculture Industrial Park project utilizes robotic flower cultivation, with an annual output of 15 million seedlings, 4 million new and superior flowers, 5 million seasonal flowers, and a total output of 24 million flowers, generating an annual sales revenue of 37 million yuan.
As a modern agricultural facility, glass greenhouses have not only significantly increased the yield and quality of flowers, ensuring year-round supply, but also driven the transformation and upgrading of the floriculture industry with their unique advantages. With consumers' increasingly diversified aesthetic demands for flowers and their pursuit of environmental protection and healthy lifestyles, the floriculture industry is rejuvenating, gradually transforming into a comprehensive platform that integrates efficient flower production, sightseeing tours, science education, and leisure experiences. This has opened up diversified growth points, including the development of high-value-added flower products and special flower festivals, while also providing strong support for urban greening and beautification as well as rural ecotourism development. Through the careful design and layout within the greenhouses, consumers can enjoy the beauty of nature while gaining a deeper understanding of the mysteries of flower growth and experiencing the charm of farming culture, making the concept of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature more deeply ingrained.
