Malaysia seeks to grow export market to include UAE

A target has been set to increase the country's orchid export value to up to RM4bil in the next four years, says Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu.The Agriculture and Food Security Minister said the target will see a significant hike in export value from the RM9.3mil recorded in 2022. Mohamad believes the target is achievable through the export of orchids to the Middle East, including to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which is a new market that can generate high revenue.
