Klaver Flowers begins 2025 as a fully FSI-compliant company

"This step shows that we want to make a difference"

Klaver Flowers begins 2025 as a fully FSI-compliant company. The farm in Wondo Tika, Ethiopia, has not only renewed its MPS-ABC certification but also achieved the EHPEA Code of Practice Silver, benchmarked with Global GAP. "These milestones highlight Klaver Flowers' commitment to sustainable cultivation, environmental responsibility, and fair working conditions."

As Klaver Flowers in Ethiopia and the Netherlands are separate legal entities, both locations must be certified individually. According to Klaver Flowers, this ensures that the lilies grown in Heerhugowaard (the Netherlands) and the Gypsophila and Limonium cultivated in Ethiopia meet the same high standards.

"This step shows that we want to make a difference," says Danny Koppes, Operations Director of Klaver Flowers. "Responsible production is not only beneficial for our customers but also for our employees, the environment, and the communities we work in."

With this certification, Klaver Flowers seeks to reinforce its dedication to transparency and sustainability, adding value for both customers and the broader community.
