Idaho Horticulture Expo speakers announced

The Idaho Nursery and Landscape Association (INLA) has announced the 2025 Idaho Horticulture Expo, taking place January 22-24 at the Boise Centre in downtown Boise. This event celebrates the INLA's 50th anniversary and marks the first year of leadership under Executive Director Nicole Edgar. With the theme 'Garden of Glitz Vegas Royale', the Expo aims to combine the glamour of Las Vegas with the world of horticulture and feature an extraordinary lineup of industry experts.

"We're thrilled to celebrate the INLA's 50th anniversary with an event designed to inspire, educate, and connect green industry professionals," said Nicole Edgar, INLA Executive Director. "This year's Expo brings together leaders in horticulture, landscape design, arboriculture, and innovation for an unforgettable experience."

Keynote speakers and presenters
This year's keynote lineup features professionals from various sectors of the green industry.

John Kennedy, founder of BoomerWrangle will show attendees his strategies for success in the horticultural world.

Jessica Walker, Lea Jonic, and Trenton Frampton, Executive Horticulture Staff from MGM Resorts International will share their knowledge in large-scale horticulture operations, including their work at the Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens.

Arborist enthusiasts will be able to see Casey Clapp, an ISA Board-Certified Master Arborist and co-host of Completely Arbortrary podcast. Clapp will share his passion for trees and tree care, offering insights into urban forestry and arboricultural practices.

The Expo will also feature Jeff Stoecklein of Davis Partnership Architects, who will discuss biophilic design in his presentation on the One River North building in Denver. Jeff's presentation follows Rich Miller of American Hydrotech's session. Rich contributed to the building's vegetative roof design and will provide a look at sustainable design and the future of green roofs.

Another guest is Jennifer Moss, the CEO of Moss Greenhouses in Jerome, Idaho. Moss is "making waves" in the horticulture world with the Firefly Petunia, a bioluminescent flower that was featured on the cover of Time Magazine as one of the "Greatest Inventions of 2024."

Also, joining the lineup is Katie Dubow, president of Garden Media Group. Dubow, the author of the annual Garden Trends Report, will offer insights into the future of the green industry and how businesses can stay ahead of the curve.

Trade show, networking, and education
Over 80 exhibitors will be showcasing their latest products and services, while attendees can engage in "Campfire Conversations" for informal networking and discussions. The Expo will also feature educational sessions with opportunities for recertification credits for industry professionals.
