California-based Florabundance is delighted that their flowers and warehouse will be showcased in Season 1 of 'With Love, Meghan', a Netflix series starring Meghan Markle. However, considering the challenging circumstances in the state and the shared commitment to supporting recovery efforts, Netflix has chosen to postpone the project launch. With Netflix's full support and at Meghan's request (California is her home state), the release date has been rescheduled to March 4, instead of January 15.
"This series is a heartfelt tribute to the beauty and spirit of California, and we are incredibly proud of this project and of Florabundace's contributions. Please know that you remain in our thoughts during this difficult time", reads a message from Netflix to Florabundance.
Florabundance deeply appreciates this thoughtful gesture. While they are excited about their feature in the Netflix series, they are profoundly saddened by the devastating wildfires impacting their state. Although the fires are in Los Angeles, about an hour south of the Santa Barbara area where Florabundance is based, the company feels deeply connected to the affected communities.
