UK: HTA announces a new series of 40 Regional Member Events

The Horticultural Trades Association (HTA) has announced a new series of 40 Regional Member Events to run throughout 2025 at locations across the UK.

These events will offer HTA members opportunities to build connections with local peers, access expert insights on critical industry topics, exchange best practices, and engage directly with their regional member engagement managers.

Tim Bell, Head of Member Engagement at HTA, commented: "Our regional member events offer HTA members an exceptional platform to network, learn from industry leaders, and share ideas with each other. Each event will be an inspiring, informative and enjoyable day out, with visits to horticultural businesses across the country. I strongly encourage every member to attend and discover the immense value of collaboration and community from these events".

Scheduled over the seasons, Winter (January to March 2025), Spring & Summer (April to September 2025) and Autumn (October to December 2025) these events provide a forum to discuss the challenges and opportunities shaping the horticulture industry. Martin Simmons, HTA Regional Manager for Central England and Yorkshire said; "I am particularly excited to host three of the first meetings of 2025 which are happening at Taylor's Bulbs, in Spalding, on 15 January, RHS Harlow Carr Garden on 3 February, and Hozelock Ltd in Sutton Coldfield, on 11 March. These free-to-attend events include lunch and will cover essential topics such as sustainability, carbon measurement, cross-border trade, and biosecurity."

According to the HTA, their Regional Member Events offer a wealth of opportunities for their members to learn, network, and contribute to the growth of the industry.
