Breeding Accel is once again attending IPM Essen. Breeders KP Holland, Interplant Roses, Schoneveld Breeding, Labeau and Royal Van Zanten will be presenting their innovations and product ranges jointly on stand D215.
One-stop-shop for genetics
After a joint trade fair presence last year, the collective is continuing its collaboration. Peter van de Pol, spokesperson for Breeding Accel, emphasizes: "Sharing a stand enhances our commercial strength and makes it easier for our supply chain partners to discover the latest insights in genetics. We offer a true one-stop-shop for innovations in breeding."
Breeders' highlights
Created from the merger of Sion Young Plants and Microflor, Labeau is going to present its Phalaenopsis range.
KP Holland will be showcasing its Curcuma. "As the only breeder and global supplier of Curcuma tissue cultures, KP Holland guarantees uniform quality in line with its own high standard: 'Plant Excellence'."
Royal Van Zanten will introduce some novelties, including pot chrysanthemums JellyFish and Artistic Jeff. The breeder will also be presenting PaX, the "bestseller series" in its Multiflora range.
Schoneveld Breeding will be showing a range of innovations at the fair, including Illusia, Gerbera Joybera, Gaultheria Ciao Bella, and an addition to its Primula Paradiso range.
Interplant Roses will be showcasing its latest spray rose varieties.
Breeding Accel, which, besides the five ornamental plant companies, also includes Fresh Forward (specializing in apple and strawberry breeding), highlights how collaboration accelerates the breeding cycle and improves quality. "By sharing knowledge in areas such as tissue culture, HR, propagation, and sales, we are making significant advances," says Van de Pol. "This enables us to supply our customers with stronger and more vigorous starting material for a successful crop."
