New glass cleaner for AR-coated glass: Maximum light, maximum output

Growers with AR-coated glass can now also choose AR Clean Plus from Cleantechnics to safely clean the glass. The newly developed glass cleaner for anti-reflection coated glass has been safety tested by DLV and approved by glass manufacturer Yu Hua. Through regular cleaning with AR Clean Plus, growers maximize light penetration into their greenhouse, directly contributing to better crop growth and higher yields per square meter.

AR Clean Plus is a glass cleaner based on controlled light foam. "This makes it easy to observe that spraying and rinsing is done optimally. AR Clean PLUS even removes heavy organic soiling due to insects," explains Gerard Schepers of Cleantechnics.

In independent research, the reference glass was found to have a transmission of 88.60% hemispherical and 97.20% perpendicular, or perpendicular. After 5 cleaning cycles with a high concentration of Ar Clean PLUS solution, the transmission result was 89.30% hemispherical and 97.60% perpendicular. The Hemispheric Transmission or HT value is, in a nutshell, the light transmittance under light from all angles.

AR Clean Plus has been extensively tested in practice for effectiveness and safety over the past two crop rotation periods. Growers are extremely satisfied with the results of cleaning the AR-coated glass deck with Ar Clean PLUS. The new product, developed in-house by Cleantechnics, can be used during crop rotation for cleaning the glass deck and solar panels. "There is cleaning without damage or coarsening of the glass. Moreover, this glass cleaner is also effective without brushing."

Cleantechnics offers an extensive range of cleaning and disinfecting agents for use during crop change. Among the products available is also FoamOrg, a product used particularly during crop changes when everything has to be really hygienically clean. FoamOrg is the cleaning product for polycarbonate sheets. FoamOrg has been approved by a producer of stem gable plates.

Cleantechnics also offers a silver-stabilized hydrogen peroxide. That product is named Oxiline-50 (in the Netherlands) and Aqua-Clean (Belgium).
