New water soluble fertilizer launched at HortiContact

This week, during HortiContact in Gorinchem, The Netherlands, Haifa North West Europe (NWE) introduced Haifa Soluble DUO, a water-soluble fertilizer that enables growers to increase calcium input without adding extra nitrogen, chlorides or sulfates or reduce nitrogen without compromising the supply of essential nutrients such as potassium and calcium. This product is specifically designed for fertigation, offering growers an efficient and sustainable solution to optimize their cultivation strategies.

Haifa Soluble DUO is available in two formulas: 10-0-35+10 CaO and 3-0-9+34 CaO. Both variants combine nitrate nitrogen, potassium, and calcium in an optimal balance, ensuring improved nutrient uptake and a stronger plant cell structure.

Some of the benefits of the Haifa Soluble DUO include it's low sodium content, no ammonium nitrogen, and nitrogen reduction.

Lowie Weerts, Sales Manager Benelux, on the launch: "With Haifa Soluble DUO, we provide growers with a powerful tool to make their fertilization strategies more sustainable. This product not only helps reduce nitrogen but also ensures that crops receive sufficient potassium and calcium, which are essential for quality and yield. We are proud to present this innovation at HortiContact."

Marco Molenaar, Commercial Agronomist & Product Manager, Haifa NWE, adds: "The unique aspect of Haifa Soluble DUO is that it combines nitrogen reduction with a balanced supply of other essential elements. This makes the product ideal for growers aiming for sustainable and efficient cultivation. We look forward to demonstrating the benefits of this product during HortiContact in Gorinchem."
