Indian state exports first consignment of Anthuriums to Singapore

Mizoram has successfully exported its first consignment of Anthurium flowers to Singapore. The shipment, consisting of 1,008 Anthurium cut flowers, departed from Aizawl on Wednesday, February 26, marking a significant step forward in enhancing India's floriculture export potential.

Packed in 50 corrugated boxes, the flowers were transported by air via Kolkata and are set to be received by Veg Pro Singapore Pte. Ltd.

The vibrant Anthurium flowers, known for their heart-shaped blooms and striking colors, were sourced from the Zo Anthurium Growers Cooperative Society in Aizawl.

The consignment was facilitated through a collaboration between the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) and Mizoram's Department of Horticulture.
