Canada: Webinar scheduled to aid growers with ornamental scouting

An upcoming webinar on the topic of scouting ornamentals has been announced to take place on Tuesday, 25 March 2025.

If scouting has been a challenge for you or your employees in the past, or you feel like you could use a refresher, then this webinar is aimed at you. Although the audience for this talk is Garden Centers, the talk is also highly applicable to ornamental and nursery crop producers.

The webinar will be hosted by Dr. Sarah Jandricic, the Greenhouse Floriculture Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Specialist for the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Agribusiness (OMAFA).

Scouting is the first line of defense against all sorts of insect and disease pests. This talk will provide tips and tricks learned from Dr. Jandricic's career working with ornamental growers, consultants, and industry reps in Niagara and beyond.
