'Greener' herbicides biggest challenge

What is currently available in active substances (EU level) for the control of fungi, insects and weeds based on origin: synthetic or natural ? Jolanda Wijsmuller, currently active in the market independently after working at Bayer for many years, shares an overview on LinkedIn.

For fungicides, the expert expects more agents of natural origin soon, and for insecticides too, agents of natural origin are already strongly represented. For herbicides, it is more difficult. There is little in the pipeline there.
