US: That Flower Feeling launches initiative to celebrate National Self-Care Day

As National Self-Care Day approaches on April 5th, That Flower Feeling is launching an initiative promoting flowers as an essential part of self-care routines. This campaign supports the organization's mission to encourage more Americans to enjoy flowers more often, emphasizing their positive impact on mental and emotional well-being.

Studies consistently show that flowers boost mood and overall happiness. Research from Rutgers University found that flowers have a lasting positive effect on emotions, with recipients reporting reduced feelings of stress, anxiety, and depression after receiving flowers.

"Flowers aren't just for special occasions," says Vanessa Leite, Managing Director of That Flower Feeling. "They're a simple yet powerful tool for everyday self-care—brightening our homes, lifting our spirits, and enhancing our well-being."

To celebrate National Self-Care Day, That Flower Feeling will host a bouquet giveaway from April 1st to April 5th on its Instagram and TikTok accounts, encouraging followers to integrate flowers into their self-care routines. Additionally, the organization has released new marketing assets for industry partners, designed to showcase the role of flowers in self-care.
