Kyrgyzstan: Over 150,000 ornamental seeds planted in Alamudun district

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Bakyt Torobaev familiarised himself with the peasant farm 'Mykan Nash Sad - Agropitnick' of Alamudun district, Chui region, and said that the state will provide comprehensive support.

The peasant farm 'Mykan Nash Sad - Agropitomnik' is currently one of 22 nurseries organized to ensure domestic consumption of planting material of fruit, berries and ornamental plants on the territory of the country.

The farm specializes in the cultivation of ornamental trees, shrubs and species of flowering plants. The farm has been engaged in ornamental gardening for more than 10 years, the total area is 16 hectares. The status of the seed farm for the production of planting material of fruit and berry and ornamental plants was assigned to it on 24 January 2025.

Ornamental trees and shrubs include deciduous and coniferous evergreen plants and flowers, which are used to create parks, squares, boulevards and street landscaping. It is planned that in 2025-2028 the nursery will be ready to grow more than 150 thousand seedlings.
