An encounter between artist Ellen Korth and Peter van de Pol, director of Schoneveld Breeding, has resulted in an exhibition where two art forms merge: plant breeding and photography.

From a mutual appreciation of craftsmanship and creativity, the exhibition "Sidai" was born. Sidai means 'beauty' in Swahili, and this beauty is expressed in the exhibition through refined plant portraits, printed on Japanese Kozo-Washi paper. Each portrait is a work of art in itself.
