Floriexpo has released the program for its education program, Floral Bootcamp.
"Developed alongside an Advisory Board of influential members of the floral community, Floral Bootcamp will deliver a power-packed day of education, designed to give buyers, designers and retailers the cutting-edge insights needed to drive more awareness and revenue for their floral programs."
This year's Floral Bootcamp will feature seven interactive workshops, expert panels and thought leadership presentations from amazing speakers from across the floral industry.
Each session will be followed by a round table discussion where attendees will collaborate with colleagues and peers.
The 2025 Floral Bootcamp sessions include a variety of topics designed to enhance the floral industry. One session, "AI for Floral Departments: Boost Sales, Save Time & Elevate Customer Experience," goes beyond theory to offer practical, actionable insights that can be immediately implemented to revolutionize operations. Another session, "2026 Trends Forecast," explores consumer psychology, emotional evolution, retail trends, and geopolitical trends, and how these factors affect the retail floral landscape.
"The Buzz About Social Holidays" focuses on increasing profits and sparking human connections by leveraging sales on secondary and social media holidays. "The Power of Collective Industry Support" highlights initiatives like That Flower Feeling and the Unit Sales Program, which emphasize the benefits of industry collaboration.
The session "Same with Less" addresses how floral departments are reacting to the steady rise in the cost of goods and looming import tariffs, and how they are designing to meet the expectations of today's flower consumers. "Converting Floral Couture Inspiration to Sellable Programs" teaches how to take inspiration from elaborate, costly designs and reverse engineer them for mass market sales.
Lastly, "The Psychology of Flower Buying: What Drives Consumer Behavior" delves into understanding how emotions, trends, and cultural shifts impact floral purchases and how businesses can tap into impulse buying.
