NL: Future leaders wanted for new edition Mastercourse Floriculture

Following a successful edition in November 2024, Jungle Talks is partnering again with leading floricultural suppliers in organizing the Pro Manager Mastercourse Floriculture from 27 October – 7 November 2024. In addition, Jungle Talks teams up with AIPH in organizing already the 5th 'Young International Grower of the Year Award' during the IPM in Essen in January 2026. The Mastercourse serves as the pre-selection for this award.

'The success of our recent Mastercourse proves that there's still a high demand to meet with peers from around the world and exchange thoughts on the current challenges' says organizer Ed Smit.

'We are also delighted to see that more countries are organizing so-called 'National Future Leaders Awards' selecting high potentials within the floricultural sector who are then eligible to participate in the Mastercourse Floriculture. We hope to welcome winners from Colombia, UK, Kenya and Brazil for the upcoming edition of the course,' mentions Ed.

'The selection process for our upcoming Mastercourse Floriculture is now in full swing. We're looking for future floricultural leaders between 25-40 years old from around the globe, with a minimum of 5 years working experience in a leading position at a future proof producer of ornamentals. Selected candidates can, if interested, participate in the selection process of the Young International Grower of the Year.'

The Pro Manager Mastercourse Floriculture partners with Koppert, Beekenkamp, Anthura, Chrysal, Bunnik Creations, Ledgnd, JConnectA, Lensli Substrates, Shypple, Greenhouse Sustainability and Van Krimpen.

'We are very proud these leading companies and organizations work together to support and inspire this international group,' says Ed Smit. 'These partnerships guarantee a high level visit program and give participants ample opportunity to network at CEO level with leading floricultural suppliers.'

The course focus lies on the future of floriculture and the role of their own company in that sector in their respective countries.
