US (IA): Plantpeddler retail complex groundbreaking ceremony held

On a crisp March morning in Cresco, Iowa, more than sixty people participated in the official groundbreaking ceremony for the new Plantpeddler Retail Complex. Established in retail since 1980, the new facility will enable expansion in floral, gift, and garden center product lines.

The main retail operation will be housed in a 6,000-square-foot widespan steel building, featuring a vaulted ceiling, multilevel shopping, a central cooler, and an efficient floral design space, all invitingly connected to the greenhouse area.

The greenhouse spans 9,000 square feet of gutter-connected structures with a glass south gable end to maximize curb appeal. The space is designed with movable fixtures to provide maximum flexibility in usage, including for corporate events.
