Biobest announces that Simon Jones, General Manager of its UK operations, retired on March 27, 2025, after a distinguished career advancing sustainable crop protection. His successor, Tim Crittenden, who has been progressively taking over Simon's responsibilities for the past six months, will now fully lead Biobest UK.
For more than 35 years, Simon has played a pivotal role in providing UK growers with biological alternatives to chemical products, backed by expert technical advice. Under his leadership, Biobest UK strengthened its reputation as a trusted provider of integrated pest management (IPM) solutions, helping growers transition to more sustainable farming practices.

Tim Crittenden, who has been with Biobest UK since 2018, brings a wealth of expertise in biological crop protection. Holding a BASIS Certificate in Commercial Horticulture, he has built strong relationships with growers and demonstrated a commitment to sustainable innovation.
