20 years of development and growth
Dick van Raamsdonk of HPP Exhibitions, who organizes the event, in collaboration with the Ethiopian Horticulture Producers Exporters Association (EHPEA), is proud of the progress made over the past two decades and how the trade fair has evolved, overcoming challenges such as event cancellations due to external factors. "The fair has grown alongside the industry itself, adapting to market demands and establishing itself as the premier platform connecting international buyers with Ethiopia's top growers. It's a true grower-buyer fair, bringing together the industry's biggest and most established growers. The ability to meet so many suppliers in one place is invaluable, saving buyers both time and money."

Panel of experts
Besides the exhibition, also a panel was organized discussing 'The Need for Smart and Efficient Agro-Logistics in Ensuring Competitiveness of Countries in the Perishable Sector'. "The panel explored critical logistics challenges facing Ethiopia's growing floriculture sector, from cold chain infrastructure gaps to sea freight inefficiencies. Isaya was joined by a group of experts. Together, the panel explored how smart logistics solutions can help Ethiopia reduce post-harvest losses, improve product quality, and expand market access for perishable exports. This is an essential discussion as Ethiopia continues to grow as a key player in the global flower export market." FlowerWatch shared on linkedIn today, see the post below. Their Isaya Henia Muiru, Technical Manager at FlowerWatch, joined the panel discussion.
