Floriday is constantly developing new features and improvements. Product Owner Sofie talks about last quarter's developments. Specific developments aimed at flower growers, new Floriday Daytrade sales opportunities and more international trading options.
Easier trading for flower growers
Sofie: "Several improvements have been made recently that make working with Floriday easier for flower growers. A commonly requested feature has been control over which buyers can see the general price range and offers. That is now possible thanks to a trade setting."
With the launch of the revamped shop, growers can also conveniently set their collections by load type and you can set the load per customer. In addition, Floriday now makes it possible to present the supply of several growers in one shop. It also offers opportunities for flower growers working with multiple administration numbers to sell under one name.

Floriday Daytrade
"With Floriday Daytrade, growers have the opportunity to market their supply earlier," Sofie explains. It also gives new opportunities for buyers as they can buy a wider range earlier in the day and have the merchandise in the box earlier with different delivery times. Daytrade supply is now available in Rijnsburg and recently also in Naaldwijk."
"We can only do the broad roll-out of Daytrade when all growers are working through the new way of creating a clock delivery. That is why we will say goodbye to the Electronic Delivery Note (EAB) in 2025. This will increase and make trade opportunities for growers and buyers more flexible and develop a future-proof floriculture sector."
International opportunities
Sofie: "Floriday is also increasingly used across borders and users have requests to make trading via Floriday easier. We will soon start working on being able to offer pricing in US Dollars (USD) through Catalog and Batch Pricing. In doing so, creating delivery terms for USD also becomes possible."
"It is already possible for a buyer to place an order for an item that is not on offer. Here, the buyer fills in the numbers and price and this is then sent to the grower. A basic version was delivered in the first quarter of this year, which international buyers are already using satisfactorily. Options will be further expanded next quarter. Would you like to take advantage of this too? Then contact support and we will make it available for you too."
"Another option that Kenyan farmers can work with is to leave the load carrier empty. This allows the boxes to be loaded directly into the truck. In this way, we are constantly expanding the possibilities for making the most of Floriday, even across borders."
