US (CA): Dümmen Orange wraps up CAST 2025, raises $20,000 for children's dental nonprofit

Dümmen Orange recently welcomed guests from around the world to celebrate 25 years of operation in North America and show off its product lineup at the California Spring Trials (CAST) 2025.

Dahlia Summer Bees, Dümmen Orange's new series of Dahlias, was well received at CAST 2025. They drew attention for their standout color, strong performance and pollinator-friendly blooms. From May to August, these Dahlias deliver vibrant color and garden appeal as well as being versatile for both retail and landscape applications.

Begonia I'Conia (pictured right at CAST 2025) is Dümmen Orange's premium collection of hybrid begonias, first established© Dümmen Orange about a decade ago. The collection includes five series along with standalone varieties. The newest addition for 2026 is I'Conia Bacio Lemon which features soft yellow blooms with delicate peach undertones that bring a fresh, elegant look to the lineup. To ensure grower success, Dümmen Orange invested in state-of-the-art production at its farms. These efforts included utilizing double shading as well as precise heating and cooling systems to create the optimal environment for top-quality cuttings. Plus, the company's technical team is always available to support growers every step of the way.

New and a top pick for 2026 is Cosmic Blues. It features the new Petunia Surprise® Sparkle Blue Vein which is powered by Intrinsa®. That makes it TMV-resistant and the most stable sparkle in the series. Petunia Potunia® Cobalt Blue has a deep, rich blue hue that adds bold contrast. Verbena Empress® Flair Delft Blue Star is new and offered CAST 2025 attendees a fresh take on classic blue and white bicolor patterns.

The La Diva Lavender collection encompasses all lavender that has Dümmen Orange genetics. With a lavender for every season and with five new introductions, there is a La Diva Lavender for everyone.

La Diva Eternal Grace joins the Eternal series, which already produced Eternal Elegance, the top pick. Grace brings a larger habit and flower to the series. Berry Bountiful and Berry Rosey join Berry Beautiful. Bountiful has large, showy double bracts and Rosey brings a unique rose color to the series. Dümmen Orange also added a new series to the La Diva collection called Spirit, which has three colors – Purple Blue, Pink (which are both Zone 4 hardy) and White (has proven Zone 3 hardiness after two years of successful trials in Winnipeg, Canada which is about 200miles north of Fargo, North Dakota).

Over $20,000 was raised which will help provide vital dental services to children in need.
