Hortus was at the IFTf with some extra attention on their solutions to spray foliage with spores instead of watering. "With foliar spraying, the drug is better absorbed by the plant itself. It makes the plant more resilient, stronger and gives it better growth." Monitoring the plants also allows very specific spraying.

At the Interplant booth, Robbert Ilsink, Bas ter Laare and Jurjen Ilsink stood with the new Garden Roses catalog to inspire florists and wholesalers.

Thomas Scheffers and Loes van der Tholen gave extra attention to the Porto 10 and Pagter's Procona this fair. The products are now produced from recycled materials.

The Porto10 is made of 100% recycled material and the Procona of 50%. Currently, the other portos are still being tested.

At the Cargolite stand there was one box remembering the 1400 Israelis massacred by Hamas. Many visitors placed their signature on the box to express their sympathy.
