John Hall from the West Sussex Growers Association developed several models for Combined Horticultural Production and Energy Hubs. As demand for local produce increases, many growers are looking to build new greenhouses. But not everybody is happy with that due to NIMBY and BANANA (Build Absolutely Nothing Anywhere Near Anyone). Energy Hubs can be the solution for this problem as it can provide benefits for the entire community, such as : Food security, waste management, sustainable energy production and other socio-economic benefits.
