They’re a well-known soft fruit grower, who have diversified their business to include sites outside of the UK and a breeding unit. Things are constantly changing, so you’ll never get bored.
For your hard work? You will implement change on the site you’re managing. There's an attractive remuneration package in return, as well as potential for accommodation and relocation support.
What’s the Job?
You’ll be managing the production from seeds/cuttings to fruit. You’ll already understand the intricacies of this, including irrigation and glasshouse management.
With your knowledge, you’ll be able to manage your team, ensuring they’re developing and working as effectively as possible.
You’ll also be working closely with other senior managers across the business, ensuring collaborative working.
You’ll be part of a small team on this site, meaning you’ll be able to make changes and have your voice heard. But being part of a bigger business, you’ll be able to see how your work is making a difference.
What do I need?
We’re open to a couple of different backgrounds.
You might be a commercial soft fruit grower, ready for something new.
You might have experience in protected cropping and breeding.
Either way, we want to hear from you.
You’ll be a strong communicator, being able to manage a team and work closely with other senior managers across the business.
