There is a growing demand for the exportation of heating pipes, as the people at Spraying company R. van der Horst noticed. To make all of that possible the pipes need to be loaded into containers. “That last part is something we do weekly now. And we want to do it in a safe way so we purchased a heavier forklift truck”, say the people from the company located in the Dutch town of Poeldijk.
Technical service provider Prince Maasdijk, which was the company in charge of supplying the forklift trucks, called it a ‘sturdy truck’. An electrical Cesab B885 to be precise, one that can lift a whopping 8500 kilograms. Furthermore, the truck is equipped with a crane that, in combination with the forklift, can ‘lift the pipes with ease’ according to the people at Prince Maasdijk.

The bundles, consisting of pipes over twelve meters in length and with a maximum weight of 2200 kilograms, can now be transported in the blink of an eye.
